Risperidon Erectile dysfunction
June 12, 2009 at 8:28 pm

Hello

I took risperdal\risperidona for two days, took 3 mgs each. Yesterday i found out i was having abnormal erectile function. I could get an erection , though it wasn't as hard as usual. After i ejaculated it just got soft almost instataneously, which is not normal for me, because i usually have the abillity to keep it erect for a while after ejaculation. I have read about the existing problems between sexual dysfunctions and risperdal, but i am freaking out because of this. I also mixed cannabis with it, though it wasn't a big ammount.

Is this a normal (but maybe rare) short-term effect? Has anybody felt something similar? Does anybody know if this will dissapear in a few days?

I am thankful for anybody's reply.

Quinine vs. Soma
June 12, 2009 at 5:34 pm

I was prescribed 350 of Soma two years ago after a bad car accident. My doctor has recently switched me from the Soma to Quinine 260mg. Do these two drugs have the same effect?

Also, I did research on Quinine, as I had never heard of it before. I found some disturbing side effects. I know they would not market or prescribe Quinine if it were a severly dangerous drug, or atleast I hope they wouldn't.

I haven't taken any of the Quinine yet. I still have some Soma. I am just afraid it will not help me like the Soma did and actually relax me and also of some of the side effects I discovered.

Any help with is great. I just need others opinions, because if it is a dangerous drug, I would like to know as much as I can when I discuss it with the doctor.

Thanks,
Jessica

confused methadone prescribed... addiction
June 12, 2009 at 2:05 pm

her is a little bit about my story, about 2.5-3 years ago i started using percocet for a little bit of back pain and the high that it gave me. was using around 2-3 5mg a day. then about 8-9 months ago i started using more averaging around 8-10 pills a day.. basicaly around 35mg - 50 mg of oxycodone a day, just depending on the pills i was able to get..i would take them orally or snort some. last week around midweek i had enough of the pills and was trying to get off of them cold turkey. by day 2 i bascally could not take it anymore. i called my primary care doctor, he was out of town so a another doctor consulted with me. she suggested me taking methadone.. starting out at 2.5 mg every 8 hours for 3 days then taking 5mg 3 times a day every 8 hourse for the next 4 days. then schuduled my next visit for yesterday, to see if the dose needed to be adjusted ..increased..etc.. i went back, my normal doctor disagreed with the previos doctor and said for me to basically tuff it out... i was surpridsed in away, i thought the methadone was helping... i did fill some physical withdrawel for about 4 days , but it got better after that... also helped my depresion and i did not even think of taking any percocets or wanting them... so basically i took my last methadone this morning, just waiting now for the withdrawels to kick in... does this sound normal for a doctor to do? should i look into soboxone treament.. at a lose here and dreading the withdrawels that are coming........

I know you see this alot but HELP
June 12, 2009 at 10:08 am

I have been taking percocets for 3 years now. I have a chronic back injury but I am not disabled. In other words I can still function but with pain. I want off these drugs and went to my doctor. I tried to get on soboxone and she told me it would cost almost a 1,000.00 for the office visits and monitoring. I have insurance but my insurance does not cover it. I can't afford this now..seperating from my husband..children to feed..bills. That is the truth I can't afford anything right now even though this is my top priority. I then tried the at home remedy to DT but I need valium. The doctor will not write me a script for it. Now I am at my wits ends and don't know what to do. Does anyone have any ideas? please anything will help. I can't DT cold turkey...I have children and have to figure out how to do this at home and still function..any advice is good advice at this point so please anyone.

Thank you for your time
Kelly

NAME THAT PILL! (Please...)
June 12, 2009 at 4:29 am

Pencil-eraser size, small white round, kinda flat, "M" on one side, "10" on the other, with an interrupted line on the top and bottom of the "10". Supposed to be Ritalin, but I did not see the image listed under the generic nor the name brand. Thanx for your help.

Robert I need some advice

Its been a few weeks and I am down to .25mg of suboxone, but I feel horrible. I ache, I feel nauseous, and am cranky. When I take it I I feel ok for a few hours and then it gets worse as I guess it wears off. Could be be I was on 24 mg for so long? It was easy getting down to 1-2 mg, but the last mg has been bad. I don't want to give up! I don't want to miss work and lose my job so that I can get through this. Please give me some advice.

Thanks Matt

I also am hallucinating a bit and my my pupils are very small. I feel better when my lights are on.
